Graham Rhodes is a playwright whose numerous works are regularly performed by Scarborough’s Valley Theatre Company in small venues and pubs throughout Yorkshire.

ImageHis first musical play "Revolution - the story of the Industrial Revolution in 4 Acts"  was performed as part of the Leeds Bicentennial festival in 1995.  Another musical play, “Rambling Boy - The Charlie Poole Story"” starring the musician Martin Stephenson was staged at Newcastle’s Live Theatre in 2003.

His plays “The Last Visit”, “Chasing the Hard-Backed  Black Beetle”, “A Ticket to Graceland’s”  and “Cracked Actor” have all won awards at the Saltburn Drama Festival.

Other work by him has received staged readings at The West Yorkshire Playhouse, been short listed by the Drama Association of Wales and at the Liverpool Lesbian and Gay Film Festival and performed at the Ilkley Literature Festival.
